Sometimes it's hard to put goals into motion. There are a lot of variables out there that contribute to why we have a hard time trying to find motivation or a reason to wake up in the morning.
Sometimes it may feel like you lose out on experiences or things other people may have. Or you see yourself being left out on trips or invites. The first thing you do is blame yourself, or consider yourself a "loser."
Like what is it about YOU? That repels everyone from you. Why do people choose not to text YOU back? Why do family and friends continually ignore you?
When is the last someone checked on you? Like your well-being.
We are a whole, are the quickest to be cliche and tell others, we are always here if they need someone. But then we find we are too emotionally invested in other peoples problems and are tired of them having problems because we face our own.
So we force, that friend, who we said they could count on us for, to seek help elsewhere, whether it be in the likes of a professional, drugs or some other form of "therapy."
Everyone feels like they will lose sometimes. And guess what? It's okay to feel that way.
Sometimes we can't be so reliant on other people all of the time. We have to push ourselves.
To lose oneself can mean that we can become so focused when doing something our sense of self is non-existent. We become so focused on our jobs, or our schooling or our duties, to distract ourselves from facing our feelings or our pain.
I've been gone for a month because I've been losing myself, but you know what I found? I found that if I was going to fixate on my objectives, it was vital that I remembered to Lose myself correctly. (L)love (O)ne (S)elf (E)veryday. No matter what you are going through, that is essential.
I did a 5k the other day that turned into an 8k by accident(fault on the host). It was so easy to give up. But every mile or so, I saw eye candy pass by that made me want to switch directions and run with them lol. I noticed every time I wanted to stop walking forward, something beautiful and created by Jesus himself, was running towards me and into the opposite direction. I realized that is how life is sometimes. Whenever we are getting closer to our blessing, we start getting tired and frustrated, and then we find a reason to turn back or stop altogether.
The enemy will make you start to feel cold, alone, unloved, and make you isolate yourself even further from those who do love you. So remember, when you start to lose yourself, make sure you L.O.S.E(acronym explained above).
Life is hard, but you are important. Sometimes, people close to you will let you down. No one is perfect, but keep moving forward and being the best that YOU can be. And know that I am HERE through this blog, to motivate you and hopefully speak to you.
